Our Mini Handball after-school clubs run in a number of schools across East Dorset, led by Lani Jones, who heads up our after-school club delivery in the area. These sessions are designed for children aged 7–11, offering fun, inclusive, and engaging introductions to handball, while building confidence, teamwork, and fundamental movement skills. Clubs run as weekly 1-hour sessions in half-termly blocks, with each block adapted to suit the individual school.Spaces are limited and tend to fill quickly, so if you’re interested in your child joining the next block, we’d encourage you to register your interest early.
Payable in advance, your child will be enrolled onto our next half term block of sessions at the school of your choice. Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect from that:
Our Mini Handball Tournaments are the perfect opportunity for our young players to put all their new handball skills to the test.
Tournament venues are situated centrally within each school area to minimise travel and time, providing competition in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. The tournaments run at the end of each 6-week block and is open to both schools and community clubs.
Each school club is invited to enter the half termly tournaments. Teams require a minimum of 5 children to play and Schools may enter more than 1 team based on numbers in their age group. Tournament winners will be presented with medals.
